MEMORIES hit the MIND

Do YOU remember the  2007  T -  20  CRICKET  WORLD CUP which was held in SOUTH AFRICA  ?



Yesterday I was surfing the NET. Suddenly, MY EYES fell on the VIDEO which was the SEMI - FINAL MATCH between INDIA and AUSTRALIA. OMG ! I can't tell YOU 

What a THRILLING MATCH it was ! 



Really, MEMORIES hit the MIND. MY HEART is puffed with JOY when I recall THIS TOURNAMENT and why not ? Coz INDIA lifted the TROPHY of the  ICC         
T - 20 CRICKET WORLD for the very first time. It was the first ever T - 20  CRICKET WORLD CUP which was won by INDIA. It makes US PROUD and SPECIAL as well. Really, it was a PROUD MOMENT for EVERY INDIANS. FRIENDS, to ME, it was the TOURNAMENT of THRILL , SPECIALLY for INDIA coz ALL THE MATCHES played by INDIA were THRILLING in that TOURNAMENT. But THIS ONE was the MOST SPECIAL ONE for US coz INDIA made THEIR WAY to the FINAL with PAKISTAN by winning THIS MATCH. YOU know what, as far as THIS TOURNAMENT is concerned, it was INDIA'S BIGGEST PRIDE coz before starting THIS TOURNAMENT, INDIA couldn't even qualify for the SUPER SIX of the 50 OVER 2007 CRICKET WORLD CUP which was held in the CARIBBEAN. IT was INDIA'S WORST PERFORMANCE ever in the ICC TOURNAMENT. So it was not easy for INDIA to go with that POSITIVITY, that CONFIDENCE which HE lost by not doing well in the 5O OVER WORLD CUP. But forgetting the PAST, INDIA took off THEIR FLIGHT to SOUTH AFRICA with the NEW GUNS. Yes, IT was NEW TEAM. There were SOME NEW FACES in the TEAM.  M. S. DHONI was declared the CAPTAIN of the TEAM and what happened later, I don't think it should explain. The HISTORY is known to EVERYONE. I just wanna share SOME MEMORIES of THIS MATCH here. 


FRIENDS,  THIS TOURNAMENT was known as YUVRAJ SINGH'S TOURNAMENT coz HE was the MAN who played a BIG ROLE in winning THIS TOURNAMENT. THIS and PREVIOUS MATCH against ENGLAND in which HE hit 6 sixes in an OVER made it YUVRAJ'S TOURNAMENT. EVERYONE  talks about HIS SIX SIXES in an OVER but I refer THIS SEMI - FINAL between INDIA and AUSTRALIA the most EXCITING and THRILLING MATCH coz INDIA were in big trouble in the first 6 OVERS. INDIA lost BOTH THEIR OPENERS in the first 6 OVERS and the SCORE was just 36. EVERYONE was stunned and thinking what will happen now ? Then the SIXER KING came out to the crease and HE made blistering 70 off 30 and reached the scorecard to 191 in 20 OVERS. INDIA won THIS MATCH and made THEIR WAY to the FINAL. I know, EVERY WIN is the WIN of UNITY. EVERY PLAYERS contribute in winning a MATCH. But the TRUTH is there are SOME PLAYERS who perform beyond the IMAGINATION and with no doubt YUVRAJ SINGH was ONE of THEM. To ME, HE was the MAIN.  I would also like to congratulate GAUTAM GAMBHIR , S. SHREESANTH , IRFAN PATHAN , JOGINDER SHARMA for their BRILLIANCE in the TOURNAMENT and the SPECIAL THANKS to M . S . DHONI coz I always believe to make good way, WE need a STRONG LEADER and with no doubt, HE  led the TEAM very well and win the TROPHY for the COUNTRY. I have a VIDEO of THIS MATCH here .
