SIR,  YOU deserve THIS HONOUR. I personally believe YOU are the most ELIGIBLE MAN for THIS POST and a WELL- DESERVED CANDIDATE coz YOUR CONTRIBUTION to the INDIAN TEAM is HIGH. I mentioned the word 'CONTRIBUTION' here coz HISTORY has been created today. THIS is the FIRST TIME in the HISTORY of  65 YEARS of  BCCI that a CRICKETER has become the PRESIDENT of BCCI. NO CRICKETER has got THIS HONOUR before.  DADA is the FIRST ONE. DADA, THIS is YOUR INFLUENCE  which got YOU THIS  HONOUR today. I am so happy that YOU are elected as the PRESIDENT of BCCI. SIR, as a CRICKETER YOU have served the INDIAN CRICKET TEAM from the BOTTOM of YOUR HEART. There is no doubt in it. But more than that YOU lifted THIS TEAM from ZERO to TOP which makes YOU so SPECIAL and DIFFERENT among the OTHER CRICKETERS. SIR,  The INDIAN CRICKET TEAM is touching the SKY today, it's only coz of the EFFORTS  YOU did to the THE INDIAN CRICKET TEAM. Yes, EVERY CRICKETER serves HIS COUNTRY but there are SOME SPECIAL CRICKETERS who leave THEIR OWN MARK and with no doubt YOU are ONE of THEM. Besides this, there is ONE BIG REASON SIR for which I would like to SALUTE YOU from bottom of MY HEART. IT is - 

YOU made the REAL INDIAN CRICKET TEAM at own

YOU taught INDIAN CRICKET TEAM  to win in abroad

YOU taught the TEAM to FIGHT

YOU got PLAYERS UNITED. 


SIR, it doesn't make any difference whether YOU have ANY ICC TOURNAMENT or not under YOUR BELT. What makes the DIFFERENCE is YOU made the TEAM INDIA REUNITED which blands the TASTE of ALL THE ICC TROPHIES. SIR, PEOPLE follow RECORDS but I follow YOUR DIGNITY. SIR, YOU are always SPECIAL to ME coz YOU made IMPOSSIBLE THINGS POSSIBLE , SPECIALLY in that ERA where to lead the TEAM in a WINNING WAY was difficult but YOU did that. SIR, YOU served the COUNTRY with the BAT and BOWL very well but it is
