TUKARAM MUNDHE'S FAREWELL

I have never seen 

SUCH  A  CRAZE

SUCH  LOVE

SUCH  RESPECT

against ANY PERSON which I saw against TUKARAM MUNDHE SIR at HIS FAREWELL  just a FEW DAYS ago .  As WE ALL know

MUNDHE SIR was in CHARGE as NAGPUR MUNICIPAL COMMISSIONER for the last EIGHT MONTHS and doing an EXCELLENT JOB for the CITY as well as the PEOPLE but UNFORTUNATELY,  as USUAL HE had to face YET ANOTHER CALL of  HIS TRANSFER 

GUYS, TRANSFER isn't MY POINT here. MUNDHE SIR is ADDICTED to IT. IT is HIS 15TH TRANSFER in HIS CAREER. HE HIMSELF says

TRANSFER has been a PART of  HIS LIFE

HE further says 

HONESTY is  HIS BIG PROBLEM and HE is always READY to pay HIS HONESTY in the FORM of  TRANSFER and HE doesn't find ANYTHING NEW in IT. Yes, BAD FEELING is there but HE has learnt to COMPROMISE with IT.

And THIS is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, GUYS. HIS RECORD 15TH TRANSFER is the BIGGEST PROOF of  IT. But GUYS, as I said EARLIER , MY POINT is not TRANSFER here . I have already TALKED about TRANSFER in MY PREVIOUS POST. The POINT I am TALKING about here is

MUNDHE SIR'S LAST DAY as NAGPUR MUNICIPAL COMMISSIONER in NAGPUR CITY

I am TALKING about HIS HEARTFELT FAREWELL here. But what do I say about HIS FAREWELL , GUYS ?  IT was a KIND of FAREWELL that NO ONE would believe. IT was TRULY a WARM FAREWELL of  MUNDHE SIR which I don't think ANYONE has ever SEEN in HIS LIFE before.  I must say 

IT was a VIEW which was like PUTTING IT into WORDS

And THIS is what exactly I am doing here. I really can't stop MYSELF to put THAT VIEW into WORDS. Coz to ME ,

IT wasn't just a VIEW but the EMOTIONS of  PEOPLE

Yes GUYS, EMOTIONS of  PEOPLE. THAT DAY,  

A LARGE NUMBER of  PEOPLE gathered outside HIS HOUSE to show THEIR FEELINGS, THEIR RESPECT towards MUNDHE SIR  

THEY carried PLACARDS of  MUNDHE SIR citing HIM as THEIR HERO 

THEY came with SLOGANS like -

*  WE want MUNDHE SIR to continue as

    MUNICIPAL COMMISSIONER in NAGPUR

*  WE want MUNDHE SIR back

*  WE support MUNDHE SIR

*  WE protest CORRUPTION

*  WE appreciate MUNDHE SIR'S WORK

*  WE oppose THIS TRANSFER ;  WE are 

    against IT and MANY MORE SLOGANS  

    like THESE which melted MY HEART

THEY didn't even STOP here. THEY showered FLOWERS in front of  HIS CAR. IT was a SIGN of  showing THEIR DEEP LOVE towards MUNDHE SIR. IT was a SIGN of  how badly THEY hurt with the NEWS of  MUNDHE SIR'S TRANSFER. THEY were just CRYING for not leaving THEM.

Now tell ME GUYS, 

Will YOU call it a PUBLICITY STUNT or EMOTIONS of  PEOPLE towards MUNDHE SIR ? Of course, PEOPLE'S EMOTIONS. YOU know what GUYS,

When WE see SUCH CROWD, such CRAZE, SUCH LOVE , SUCH RESPECT against  ANY PERSON ?

When THAT PERSON has NO FEAR of  ANYTHING and work INDEPENDENTLY and HONESTLY. And with NO DOUBT, MUNDHE SIR is ONE of  THOSE PEOPLE who work INDEPENDENTLY and HONESTLY. And WE ALL know

HONESTY gets APPRECIATION but pay a BIG PRICE

The SAME THING happened to MUNDHE SIR here. HE was HUGELY APPRECIATED by the CITIZENS for HIS HONEST WORK, SPECIALLY , to keep COVID - 19 under control in NAGPUR. But it is said that 

HONESTY pays the PRICE

And THIS is what exactly happened to MUNDHE SIR here. HE too had to pay the PRICE for HIS HONESTY. SOME PEOPLE didn't like HIS HONESTY and TRANSFERRED HIM to OTHER CITY which was EXPECTING to HIM. YOU must have UNDERSTOOD where I am pointing at. But GUYS,

Even if  HONESTY comes at a HIGH PRICE, IT gives YOU THAT HONOUR which YOU deserve more than ANYONE ELSE and never forget in YOUR LIFE

THIS is what WE can LEARN here from the STORY of MUNDHE SIR. THIS MUNDHE SIR'S STORY , FAREWELL , HONESTY , whatever YOU can say ,  gives US a STRONG MESSAGE here  which says

HONESTY takes TEST but IT makes YOU IMMORTAL till the LIFE EXISTS. So never leave HONESTY. Be ALWAYS with HONESTY. IT gives YOU YOUR REAL IDENTITY and  always TELLS

YOU are still a MAN and working for the WELFARE of  the  SOCIETY as well as the COUNTRY

MUNDHE SIR , THANK YOU SO MUCH for giving US the LIFE of  LESSON and being the PART of  OUR LIFE. PEOPLE like YOU are still the PART of  THIS COUNTRY is a PROUD THING for the COUNTRY. IT tells

HUMANITY is still ALIVE

SIR, WE truly SALUTE YOU from the DEPTH of  OUR HEART 🙏 🙏  YOU are TRANSFERRED from NAGPUR but not from OUR HEART. YOU will always be there   FOREVER .
